All 6 premier league clubs and other elite clubs in Europe have finally deserted the Super league last night April 20th. threatening to implode the project by a group of elite English, Spanish and Italian clubs less than two days after it was announced.
Especially it was abandoned since the UK government sought action to prevent the breakaway football league from forming with legistrature. additonally the UEFA and champions league also warned of dire consquences for the 'rogue' football teams.
In a statement, the club said: "Manchester City Football Club can confirm that it has formally enacted the procedures to withdraw from the group developing plans for a European Super League."
