Last week in WSO was the long awaited Arabic Culture week, where students celebrated and embraced the rich Arabic culture, activities included:

  • Cooking Arabic dishes

  • An Arabic show displayed at the auditorium for various year groups

  • Arabic music being played using the guitar

And many more

However, all these activities took a long while to prepare for, so before we start, we'd like to thank all the wonderful Arabic teachers who put their time and effort into making this week special.

To begin with, the teacher all set a schedule for what they wanted to be done for the duration of the week, this process started as early as more than a month

After that, they started getting the students involved, luckily, many of them agreed to participate in the celebration of the culture week.

The decorations is what really stood out during the Arabic culture week, boards all over the school had all the upcoming events that students can either watch or participate in such as the singing competition and clearly, that took a lot of effort as well.

Teachers and students all went decorating boards, walls, halls and more to look like the Arabic culture wonderland we saw last week. Not only were the incredible to look at, they were also informative too.

So finally, a huge thank you the students and teachers that participated in Arabic culture week! It was surely enjoyable for students from both primary and secondary.
